FrameLark processes images to remove their backgrounds. This policy describes the information involved when you use this website and API.

What we collect

When you create an account, we store your name, email address, a protected password hash, credit balance, API key records and usage history. We also process the images you upload and their resulting previews and full-resolution outputs. Basic request and security logs help us operate the service and prevent abuse.

How we use it

We use your information to process images, provide downloads, manage your account and image balance, authenticate API requests, prevent misuse and resolve technical problems. Your uploaded images are not used to train image models.

Image processing and storage

Images are sent to our background-removal infrastructure and processing provider to isolate the foreground subject. Image access expires after 24 hours. Storage lifecycle rules remove the underlying objects asynchronously after expiration. Originals and outputs are stored temporarily so that the service can process and deliver your downloads. Treat this service as a processing tool, not as permanent photo storage; keep your own copies.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive purchase and payment status information needed to add images to your balance or manage a subscription. We do not store your full payment-card number.

Cookies and account access

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and associate anonymous uploads with your browser. API keys authenticate requests made by your integrations. You can revoke API keys from your account.

Service providers

Infrastructure, image processing, database, storage and payment providers process the information necessary to deliver their services. We do not sell your images or personal information. Data may be processed in countries other than the one where you live.

Security and your choices

We use authentication, protected password hashes and restricted image access to help protect your information. Keep your login and API keys private. Upload only images you have permission to process, and avoid uploading sensitive personal documents.

Children

This service is intended for adults and business users, not children under 16. Do not create an account if you are under 16.

Changes

We may update this policy when our service or practices change. The updated date at the top identifies the current version.
