These terms apply to FrameLark, our website and our background-removal API. By using the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

Your images and account

You retain ownership of images you upload. You give us permission to process, store and deliver those images solely to provide the service. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions to upload each image. Keep your account credentials and API keys private, and provide accurate account information.

How the service works

FrameLark uses a mask to isolate a subject from the original photograph and create a transparent or white-background output. We do not generate a replacement subject. Image quality depends on the source photograph. Fine edges, translucent materials, hair, reflections and similar details can require judgment and may not be perfectly reproduced. Edge matting, resizing and compression can change pixels. Review your result before using it commercially.

Previews, images and payments

Free previews are limited in resolution. Free previews and the welcome image are for personal evaluation; paid images include commercial use. Full-resolution downloads and API processing require an account and available images. Each purchased image covers one successful full-resolution image operation. Prices and included images are displayed before checkout. Taxes may apply. Subscriptions renew monthly or annually according to the billing interval selected at checkout, unless canceled through the account billing controls. Annual plans are paid yearly and provide a new image allowance each month. Unused monthly images do not roll over. Pay-as-you-go images do not expire.

Competitor prices may change. FrameLark is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by remove.bg, OpenAI or Anthropic.

Acceptable use

Do not upload unlawful content, violate another person’s rights, misuse the service to deceive or harm others, attempt unauthorized access, share API keys publicly, circumvent image balance checks or overload the infrastructure. We may limit or suspend access when necessary to protect the service or other users.

Availability and limitations

The service is provided as available. Processing times and image quality can vary, and interruptions may occur. Keep your own originals and downloaded results. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not promise uninterrupted operation or fitness for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Changes

We may change these terms as the service evolves. The date above identifies the current version. Any mandatory rights you have under applicable law remain in effect.
